Self-priming pumps AU series
General features
They are suitable for transferring clean liquids containing impurities up to 0.03 mm in size. Their hydraulic components: impeller in brass, bottom in cast iron and pump body in aluminium allow them to be used with emulsions, oily substances and liquids in general provided they are not oxidative for the construction materials.Viscosity must not exceed 21 cST (3° Engel).They must be installed on the top of the tank and be primed before use.Should the pump suck air due to a lack of liquid, the priming operation must be repeated.To ensure proper life to the pump, do not let it run dry, as the mechanical seal is not lubricated.It is advisable, where possible, to install a suction filter.
